Mr. Piprah attended Aggrey Memorial Secondary School in Cape Coast. He then went to Legon School of Administration from 1973 to 1976 where he majored in accounting.
After obtaining his Bachelor degree he moved to Vancouver in 1977 to further his education. He enrolled in the University of British Columbia's Business Administration program and obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration three years later.
Mr Piprah is a CGA and a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia. He works as a Finance & Accounting Consultant . He is married to Beverley Piprah and they have two sons Kwame Piprah and Lenny Piprah.
He was appointed to the position of Consul General for Ghana for B.C in May of this 2006.
